Nicole Paradis-Sydenham made history in 1990 when she became the first Women’s Ministries Director to be appointed by a Canadian conference. Over the course of more than 20 years, she faithfully served in this role across three conferences: Quebec, Manitoba, and—most notably—16 years in Alberta. Nicole has been a sought-after speaker at women’s retreats and camp meetings across Canada and the United States. Since 2001, she has also served as an elder at College Heights Church.

Nicole has a gift for storytelling and bringing joy to those around her, often making people laugh while pointing them toward a deeper relationship with Jesus. Her greatest passion is encouraging others and sharing Bible truths in ways that speak to their real-life experiences.

She retired from her long-time role as Admissions Officer at Burman University in 2020, where she dedicated over two decades of service. In retirement, Nicole and her husband, Ron, enjoy traveling to Kenya and Rwanda on humanitarian missions with A Better World. At home, her favorite moments are spent cooking and gathering around the table with their four children, their spouses, and their 13 grandchildren.

If you feel the need to connect with Nicole or would like to meet with her to explore answers to meaningful spiritual questions, you are warmly invited to reach out. You can contact her at
